Guitar Build - Days 7, 8 & 9
I knew that it would take a while. It took 3 days to carve the guitar top. A total of about 8 hours carving with a combination of a spoke shave, wood files and an orbital sander did the job. I think my next guitar will have a flat top though because it was quite frustrating at times.
The next step will be a big one. Using a router I will carve out the cavities for the electronics. I'll probably end up taking about a third of the body weight out.
