With spring just around the corner we have been thinking more seriously about starting Sophie's agility training. I wanted to build her a simple jump. This is what happens to a simple little idea when you are married to an architect:
On Saturday night when all the cool kids were out at bars and clubs, we were at The Home Depot. Buying lumber. And bolts. Yes, I know you are all jealous of our glamorous life. We headed home, had a glass of wine (because where's the fun is using power tools and sharp implements while totally sober?) and headed into the man-cave. Rodney thinks it's incredibly funny to see me using tools and likes to harass me with his camera while I try to work. Lots of drilling ensued.And then putting in dowels to hold the jump bar at various heights. Clever idea, Rodney. The finished product.
