Christmas Hog

Here's the latest addition to the family. He's settling in well and learning how to run in his wheel. we're not sure on a name yet but "Biscuit" seems to be sticking.

White Christmas

Well there was snow on the ground in the Boston area anyway. We haven't had any actual snow for a couple of weeks. We travelled to Jen's parents' house in Peabody for a couple of days and had a very nice Christmas.

Guitar Build - Day 6

Finally I'm getting back to the guitar project. First I trimmed down the overall guitar shape to closely match the final intended shape. This also required belt and spindle sanding to get everything clean and smooth. As you can see here in the previous guitar build post, the heel at the base of the neck required work. I worked with files for about 40 minutes to contour the heel and smooth the transition between the neck and body.

Fantasy of Lights

For just $10 you too can take a car load of people around Lighthouse Point park. Myself, Jen, Chris, Carrie and Tera took a drive on Saturday night. Various local companies sponsor the lighting displays.

Chapel Street Fire

No word on exactly how it started but this morning downtown New Haven was at a standstill because of a fire here on Chapel Street.

Tree Lighting

It may be small but it is a real live tree. We even have a couple of presents under it since I took this photo.
